Picture larger on TV

I hav a LG 29PIP tv set...
today morning when i started the Tv...the picture suddenly was going out of the boundaries of the TV....
the logo of few channels is half vissible and the news marquee is also not visible on few channels....

what cud be the cause...

the Tv is not in zoom mode....

I have no idea about the cause.
But you could try resolving by restoring to "factory settings".

Is there a "Fit to Screen" option? Try that....

It can even depend on the source which can be culprit.Try all possible options-
DVDp,STB...

I had a similar problem with my LG CRT.. was fixed by LG service guy.. he entered service menu using remote and TV and fixed it..
if your TV is under warranty call LG service..

i just googled and found out the way to enter the service menu(TV not under warranty)

found the place where settings cud be changed....

IT WORKED...

BTW to enter LG crt service menu

press Ok button on the Tv as well as the remote simultaneously for 5 sec..
