In 2002- I purchased a 5.0 E Series Jamo Speakers in Mumbai. They are well cared for and all that is fine. they suited the budget and the requirements fine back then.

I now, a decade later, feel the need to upgrade all my speakers. I need a little more booming and fuller sound.

The Yamaha RXV540 Amp was up'ped to the Denon 1912.

So recommendations pls.

Usage pattern:

1. Floorstander fronts is a must.
2. 50% is blue-ray or DVDs.
3. 25% is English- genre classic rock- Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, The Clash, Guns 'N Roses, and ofcourse the father of them all, Metallica.
4. Balance is -never mind- radio- to leave the house on time for office.

Budget 45-95K. Unless someone wants to convince me that for a few bucks more, I can hear the grass grow.

On dislikes, I hate super clear speakers, like Cadence. I neither have the source nor the amp to drive that type sensibly anyways.

The Jamo e5 series was not boomy and round enough for you??????

LOL!

Do you have the bookshelf of towers? These are the towers

The e5 was actually one of the fullest/roundest in it's class, as you go up it comes more lean.

The only speaker I can actually recommend to quench your thirst for bass is the jamo s718 towers with 10" sidefiring woofers and 8" mids with horn tweeter.

I might even have one new but old stock in delhi for 20-21k, theyre like 27/28 new
