I am thinking about going back to the 'stone age'. The old 'cable to home' doesn't at least tamper your TV. I heard the digital set top box made by hathway can increase the quality of picture from the regular cable. Anyone here using that? My local cable guy is short of these boxes. He says it may take few months for him to get one.

The Hathaway set top box improves the picture quality especially the high frequency channels. You need not wait for your cable guy to supply it. In Hyderabad they are sold by almost all electronic shops dealing in home appliances for about Rs.750. You can install it yourself. Have you tried any of the electronic shops in Banglore?
