Speakers with a 20K Budget

Hi Friends,

Now that I missed out on the Mordaunt Short Carnival 6 Tower Speaker deal on ebay, and will wait for the next listing, I was wondering if you could help me with selecting FS speakers within a 20K budget. Usage would be primarily for Movies and Music - no gaming, my living room size is around 250 -300 Sq Ft

What are the options i can look for?

I dont think you have missed out of the deal, he seems to be getting new stock, contact the dealer and see if he can arrange for you.

the usher s520 is a good speaker (not sure abt the price but its there abouts). though im not a bose fan the bose 301 is a very well rounded speaker and i was very impressed with it for its price @ 17.5k.

Friends with many options being shared by all of you and a little I managed to pick up from all the valuable information available in this forum I feel these are the speakers which would make it to the first list if my $$$$ is within 21K max

Polk TSi 300 - 21K
Warfedale Vardus 400 - 20 K

What are your thoughts any other options which i can consider?

And I also need to let you all know that at this point of time I dont have a very good AVR (HK 133) so I will have to make do for some time before I can jump in for a better AVR - Please advise

If your budget is upto 20K than you can give the Bose 301 a try , it is the only Bose Speaker I like. Dont buy Acoustimass they are rubbish....it sounds like a Radio Speakers..........
