+1 to Great Indian Kitchen.
Though the movie is setup in a Kerala environment, it has a pan India importance. The stories of married women in the shackles of expectations and duties have been told many times. But most of them were a mere sympathetic observation. This one is different.
This movie is a slap on the patriarchal norms of our so called culturally superior society. And to our constant comparison with the Western marital values.
Although not many can walk out like the wife in the movie. One must note that the couple don't have children. That's a huge bonus if one has to think of leaving out of a marriage.
A must watch irrespective of the linguistic or genre preferences.
