How is the quality of this lp?
Thanks.

Jethro Tull - Rock Island Chrysalis Records, 1st UK Pressing
Yngwie J Malmsteen - Marching Out, UK pressing - Lotsa nostalgia with this record. Used to drool over it in a vinyl recording store in Bangalore called Audioline, back in the 80's. Brings back lot of fond memories?

Another one

Never considered to be on higher echelons of refined music like Classical, Classic rock or legendary artists, this Pop Electronics (words that elitists frown upon) group produced some fine electronic tunes.Wikipedia says the group was shy, reclusive and perfectionist to the core. Worked very hard for the tune they want people to listen to. Never gave interviews, never picked up phone while working. Read Coldplay incident on wikipedia.

I had cassette of Computer World (EMI) and Man Machine vinyl was given to me to listen for few days by my uncle's friend. The bass knob was sincerely turned up :D to listen to it.

Some say Jazz is an acquired taste. I say once in a while guilty pleasure should be desired state. Sometimes streetfood gives you more satisfaction than expensive bland food at Marriott . I have three of their albums.
Regards

Listening to old Bhupen Hazarika Assamese songs, from my dad's collection (one of them - songs from the movie Aparoopa - does not have an outer cover). Nostalgic :)

hi mahiruha,

there is a thread called 'what i'm listening to now'. i guess people there are posting on what they're listening to. if you want to discuss only vinyl, well over the weekend, on sunday i cleaned & listened to dire straits brothers in arms, andre segovia mexicana, foreigner best of, bangles best of, deep purple fireball and burn, doors best of, eagles hotel california and one more i forget. the one lesson i keep getting reminded of is you can never tell just by looking what is a good lp and a bad one. one i listened to skips even though it looks perfect.

regards
Whenever a lp skips,I try to change the cartridge and I find no skipping.
I have technic turn table .I purchased 3 headshells.
At 440 mlb ,shure 97xe,mp10 on respective shells.
I find shure and mp10 to be more skip froof.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
