John Denver. What an artiste.Sadly the above LP does not include his iconic "Sunshine On My Shoulders". otherwise a superb album. Switching tracks, today heard "Babu " *ing Meenakshi Sheshadri and music by Rajesh Roshan. Also heard " Lootmaar" *ing Dev Anand. Though not very popular, one odd song was nice.

Today heard Gloria Gaynor LP 'Love Tracks'. This includes her iconic hit "I will Survive" and some other nice numbers like "Stoplight". A very nicely recorded Polydor German record.

Well tomorrow is Holi. So out comes my Holi songs Lps. Other than songs from Silsila and other popular numbers, I will play "Aise rang de Piya" from the film 'Babu'. Picturised on Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini, also *ing Rati Agnihotri(not Meenakshi Sheshadri, as I erroneously stated a few posts above). This was a hit, with Rajesh Khanna at his best.

Yes! that's a L70 of 1963. It came from the home of a Bollywood lyricist of yesteryears.
