While the 42" Panasonic costs almost same as the competition, Why are the 50" more costly?
I have seen the 42" plasmas from all Panasonic, Samsung, LG costing 40-45k range.
But the 50" is drastically costly! A 50" X10 costs ~80k While the LG and Samsung can be sourced for <60k!
This always leaves the panasonic behind when it comes to 50" plasmas.
Even the Full HD Samsung PS50B550 model was available for less tha the 50" X10's price when it was sold some time ago.
To top it all, Panasonics are actually cheaper than the competition in the US and the UK.
