i am asking this again sorry. but i am about to buy today. So is it worth going with x4800h over x3800h. My setup will be 1 sony oled tv 2. appletv 4k device 3. 2 tower speakers/1 centre/2 back surround/2 subwoofers and 2 pairs dolby atmos upfiring(4 total) from wharfdale/dali/qacoustics.

it maibly deoends on your budget. If budget permits higger version always better

I’d say go for the 3800H and later if needed use the extra money to go for a power amp depending on what your LCR is

Or look at LX-505 from Pioneer or RZ-50 from Onkyo, that come with the Dirac license included and then you can do both

For the price of that I was getting x3800h plus Dirac. That’s why I took x3800h. Yet to take Dirac though. Planning to take it during Black Friday.

x4800h at 1700usd in india and x3800h is only 400 usd cheaper here
