Yamaha wxc-50

Hi,

Has anyone tried yamaha wxc-50 as a online Streamer . I have following queries regarding it:

1) which online apps it supports in India - like amazon music, Spotify etc.

2) it is having two dacs. Which one is used for player mode (fix output where volume is controlled by amp)

3)its performance specially with Manantz amps

4) 1 TB Hdd can be added to it through USB input.

the supported apps are listed in there. if you already have the account, it does not matter which country you are accessing it from.

The manual says how to switch between PLAYER MODE and PRE AMP MODE. Honestly, i dont think, it has got anything to do any specific DAC. The presence or absence of pre-amplification is only after digital to analogue conversion normally.

Other FMs who are using this Marantz amps can comment here.

4) 1 TB Hdd can be added to it through USB input.

The manual does not explicitly say 1 TB HDD. it just says FAT16 or FAT32 formatted drives that draw a maximum of 0.5A.

Thanks for prompt reply. I think it uses Burr-Brown (a PCM5102) for fixed output as written is some reviews . Same is available in WXAD10.
