I am new to HT Domain..

Looking to buy a AVR + Speaker package...

Room size 14/10 sq ft.. watching distance 7 ft...

budget : 50k

had a look at
1. Yamaha rxv471 , YHT 296
2.HK 265
3.Onkyo HTS 5400

Usage : 50 % movies ... 40 % music and then gaming..

should i go for package deals or buy avr and match the speakers.

what are my best options.

@ in chennai any idea where to get them...

Definitive Technology Pro 1000
PSB Alpha B1
Mission BS also go well with Yamaha.

Floor standing speaker for your room size might be an overkill. Check out the Sonodyne Sonus range since you are on a budget.

considering the fact that its better to go for good BS than cheap FS ,

I am Good for BS ..

but options are
1. Wharfedale Packs
2. Energy
3. Sonodyne
4. Yamaha

Guys , can u suggest me which would be the best option , considering the fact I can go for FS once budget permits
