Magma - Great looking cabinets! The one on the right has a front panel that looks just like the 8Audio cabinet that Audiodoc and I have used previously, but even better black anodized finish instead of the silver aluminium finish of the 8Audio case. The front profile milling looks first-class.
1) One issue with the 8Audio cabinets is that the edges were sharp and had to be chamfered slightly to reduce the risk of finger cuts and other injuries. If it's not already taken care off, could you please dress/chamfer the edges before anodizing?
2) The front panel screws may (optionally) be hex-headed Allen bolts in grey high-carbon steel - it gives an industro-tech appearance to the aesthetics.
3) Please include standardized pre-punched cutouts for: IEC mains connector, on/off switch, mains fuse holder, 4x speaker binding posts and maybe 2x to 6x RCA connectors, on the rear panel.
Hi Magma,
The cabinet is very well done. A quick question on the cabinet spikes, if there is only one towards the back, will it affect stability when we mount a heavy r-core or toroid transformer in a side?
Thanks
