Hi all,
Isen't it better to have an audition 7 buy from Alfa instead of buying from
e bay or 20 North. Products purchased from US does not have any warranty too.
Of course it is, unless there is a good price difference. Warranty holds if its international warranty. but you need a converter.

Whoever gives the price of AVR, please mention additional details, like whether online price/grey market/Best price quoted in xxx shop at xyz city.

Hi friends,
I have been in touch with a trader who is promising me a good deals on AVR. He quotes prices in bill/warranty and grey, prices are quite competitive.
Pioneer 520 - 14K without bill
Onkyo 308 - 17.5K with bill
I wonder if there is a way to know, if when I buy the AVR (with or without bill) is original and not tempered with inside. Is there anything visible which one can look for (a warranty seal on the machine). Or a number which one can confirm from the company. Could the company help in this?
For eg. i bought my iphone in grey market and called apple to know the warranty by giving them the product number and it was really easy to know that I wasn't being conned.
I know that Alfa sells lot of products without bill/warranty but they have a good will which they wouldn't want to mess up with their goodwill.
Please throw some light on this.

What can be its use?Its 1000w & very cheap.
Yeah i knew it was working out expensive.
But i was no way going to US or going to ask anyone to carry such a heavy piece for me.
So i settled for the price cause i could see and demo the piece which came out of sealed box right in front of my eyes and bring it all by myself and pay lesser than Indian rate.
The price you are quoting is again without tax and charges of getting to India, customs trouble, etc ?
Weighing all issues i settled for the above price and it was a win win situation for me. I guess.
I suggest everyone should stop comparing with US rates unless you plan to go and live there or have someone who can transport it under the radar to India.
End of all the hazels i feel best is to get any product in India itself. Everything is very competitively priced in India itself and you get service at the extra cost. ( Just my point of view after my latest shopping visit to Singapore)
