AVR Pricelist

Thats a very decent price. I presume its a 220 V model and with B&W? If it is then I dont think Bangloreans should hesitate a minute before grabbing the remaining pieces.

Yes, it is the India-specific model (220v) from Denon, sold with bill and warranty by HTSTore.

Folks,

I am looking at the Onkyo 809. Onkyo Chennai quoted 90K.
(But he offered much lower with a 5.1 speaker combo.)

I read in this thread the 809 was selling for 62K.

I would like your help to understand 2 things:

1. Would like to know from the AVR experts here, if the 809 is good with music, since it is one of the 'high-end' recievers? (Iam somehow not into Marantz or Denon, maybe they are better with music than the Onkyo)
2. Is the price offered too high?

Thanks for your advice.

On Saturday I checked with Oceanic in Pune (Mr. Dave) for Denon 1911. The price quote I got was of 39K. Since 1912 is already available and 1911 is selling for around $450 what would be a reasonable price in Pune.
I've no idea about Customs and + Octroi that need that would be added on top of US pricing.
If the B'lore pricing is 32 K then it should not be more than 35K in Pune.
Or is it worth waiting a few days for 1912 @ 45K?

Couple of months back I had posted a Price List for reference here. Some of the prices have changed since then and I am posting the new prices that I received.

All these are direct imports from US and are therefore 110 V. The price is with Bill and warranty of a year provided by the Mumbai dealer.

I would advise the members to treat this list as a reference and bargain even on these prices as it is possible to get a discount on most if not all of the following.

Yamaha RX-V371BL -- -- Rs 17, 950

Yamaha RX-V571BL -- -- Rs 28,900

Yamaha RX-V667 -- -- Rs 28,900

Yamaha RX-A710BL -- -- Rs 31,720

Yamaha RX-V671 -- -- Rs 36,960

Yamaha RX-V867BL -- -- Rs 38,900

Yamaha RX-V871BL -- -- Rs 41,900

Yamaha RX-A810BL -- -- Rs 43,900

Yamaha RX-V863 -- -- Rs 46,900

Yamaha RX-A1000 -- -- Rs 49,900

Yamaha RX-A2000BL -- -- Rs 69,900

Marantz SR6006 -- -- Rs 66,000

Marantz AV7005 -- -- Rs 77,900

Denon AVR 1612 -- -- Rs 27,900

Denon AVR-1912 -- -- Rs 36,900

Harmon Kardon AVR3600 -- -- Rs 44,900

As quite a few members are on the lookout for entry level 5.1 HTIB setups here are some options:

HTIB:

Yamaha YHT-595BL -- -- Rs 34,800

In Pune
Denon AVR1912: INR 38.8K with B&W (after negotiations)
Onkyo NR 609 : INR 48K (not negotiated yet)

I bought an Onkyo NR 609 for Rs45K in Bangalore (Onkyo showroom in Barton centre/MG Road). For citibank credit card holders, they offer6 month interest-free EMIs (although I am sure it is built in) - Rs7500/month.

I chose the Onkyo over the Denon 1912 because of the power. Onkyo 609 is 175W while Denon 1912 is 125W. Feature wise there may be a few differences, but the power was a big difference.

Prices of Beats 99
Yamaha RX-V471 - Rs.25000 (23k W/O Bill & Warrenty)
Denon 1312 - Rs.20000
He promised to give some good discount if we buy together. The first lucky person to get 471 is Santy.

Price of 671 is more than Viola.Viola price was Rs.40500 & if you pick 2,you get for Rs.39500.

If people group their buys here, they are getting better discounts.

Trying & hoping the same.
To all, many of us may be upgrading AVRs in Diwali & if we buy together,we can get good discount at local stores.
I was told that Yamaha offers 1+1 warranty.Second year its service warranty. Can some one confirm this?
