Bought home an EPSON TW6000 3D projector

This indeed is a very bad situation for me-no 3D switching in 2310..while watching 3D ,i use optical out from blu ray player for audio and hdmi out to projector.So no HD audio..
While playing 2D,uses denon hdmi output..
Have to go for a new recvr supporting 3D.

Even I am in the same situation. I am planning to get Oppo 93 bdp from Amazon US that has dual HDMI and supports a good number of media files from USB. That will allow me to use my 2310.

I did some research and found out that if I buy Oppo 93 from amazon and region free mod kit from eBay, it's gonna cost around $750 (Around 40k INR) including shipping and duty.

I heard lots of rave reviews about Oppo 93.

I did think about a HDMI splitter. But coudn't get hold of a good one. However after seeing Oppo 93 and its specs and reviews I just want to get one . And Oppo 93 will fit all my requirements for now.

Hi All,

If anybody is interested in HDMI splitter specifically for 3d projector/TV and non 3D received, I do have one for sale which I purchased it from Poland but did not use it as I got a 3D AVR. I would open a For Sale thread for it if anybody requires it.

I got one splitter from Lakozy (don't recall the price) - but I use it for 2D. I had no problems as yet. Contact Ashish if he has one for 3D. Since he runs a 3D projector in his demo room, he should be able to also comment on quality. Since signals are digital and assuming they are not modified by splitters, I doubt there would be a quality issue.

That is actually not a good price... The good price would be 80-82k with vat inclusive... 85k would be a ok price but 91k is defiantly too high... Negotiate further & tell then you can get it for 80k from varay image in mumbai shipped to ur home(varay would probably charge you 1k for shipping)... Buy it closer to 80-82k...

PS the 1.05 lacs price is with vat inclusive...

By now, I have inquired myself. Tw8000 is indeed now available in India, though its not yet listed in Epson India website. Cost is around 1.5 lakhs.

No free glasses. In US too, free glasses are being offered only with 3010. Not with 5010.

Congratulations Srenjith! Epson is a good one. I have 3010 - 3D 1080p. Got it from US. Iam using APS 750i full sine wave UPS for it. Also got extra 3D glasses for USD 100/- each. (2 were free)

i also planned to bring through the import route, but didn't want to take risk on warranty part, hence bought it from here....Have to buy extra glasses nw
