Guys - I am in tentatively, but will not be able to confirm until a week before, due to some fluctuating business trip schedules.
As far as equipment is concerned, I can bring in speaker cables & IC's from an all copper set and an all silver set (PS audio x-stream reference and Signal cable silver resolution). I have some other equipment, CD players, DAC's, pre-amps. etc, but all are 110v so will need step downs, which I am not sure will be available.
Locationwise I would prefer Banjara, Jubilee Hills, Madhapur, Ameerpet etc., and can travel mostly anywhere reasonable near to these areas.

If the meet is on 11th December then I can participate.I can bring in Usher Mini Dancer Two Diamond DMD.I would prefer any location nearer to Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills ,Somajiguda and Begumpet.

Everything I got is in my Signature..which is pretty standard. I don't mind carrying to event if you guys want.

Sidvee - Would be great if you can make it. I think we can manage the step down's. I have one which i can get, i am sure others might also have.

In that case I can bring a Musical fidelity XDac v3 along with a Xpsuv3. I can also bring a Rega Apollo Cd player. It will be nice to compare both as they are in the similar price range (of-course the MF will need a transport) - approx US $1k. I have a step down but it weighs about 35kg so i do not want to mess with lugging it around. Also I was wondering about the venue - are we planning to get some servo stabilizers as well due to the atrocious power quality in hyderabad. What about the BS power cuts? Jubilee hills suffers every day from 9-10am. Not sure about other locations.

Hi Sachin,

I'll be in Bangalore around 11th for some official business and hence also committed to attend the DIY meet there. That's why I had preferred 18th as I'll have to take leave to visit Hyderabad. If 11th is what suits most of the guys, you can go ahead and fix it on 11th but I feel sad that I'd miss an opportunity to meet you all.

BTW, why don't you guys make it on a Sunday, like 20th which would suit all instead of a week day. Just my 2 cents.

Sid, actually i was also thinking about the power conditioning and infact the power situation in hyderabad. Actually my place (near lingampally) we have a daily 4 hours load shedding .

I guess a place with back up power is needed. Will try scouting around and update with some options.

btw looks like you have a high grade step down , the one i have is just the maxine one i use for the receiver. in that case i would not recommend using that Wonder if anyone else has a better one.

Thanks Sachin - Yes the generator facility is something we have to consider or else with all these unscheduled power cuts we may be left in the dark during the meeting.
I have a 3kva Vertex Servo Stab with built in step down, that Vertex built for me. Works great but also weighs a lot. I also have a smaller 750watt step down, so once you decide the venue and power/stabilizer situation, I can bring that along. It will be enough to run the Cd player and dac.
