JioCinema Logo too Bright?

Hi,

Please find a pic attached. I'm afraid if the JioCinema OTT App Logo is too bright and might cause pixel burn-in in my Sony OLED A80J TV screen. I tried writing to them to make it transparent like others do... Like Netflix, Prime etc... But they don't care to respond. Does anyone else think this is an issue?

You may check with Sony whether this is really harmful ?. I think TV should be able to handle this unless you continuously keep the logo in the screen for very long time 2-3 days etc.

I think there is a real danger of burn in ...esp with bright logos.

I'm using the JioCinema app within the Google TV. Not sure if it will be any different if I'm streaming using an external device like Fire TV stick. The problem is that the logo is always displayed... Throughout a movie or a match. That's like 4-5 hours.

Netflix for eg... Does not always display their logo on the screen... Pic attached. Even when they display it is translucent/dim.

May be tagging the JioCinema team on social media and highlighting this issue could make them respond?!! I'm not on social media though....

one alternative is to check if Zoom option is available.
on LG , I think there is a Vertical zoom / all direction zoom etc under aspect ratio . this can knock the section off the screen.

Hey thanks for the links. But it's not an option in the A80J... I think only the KDL LCD series have it... Might be wrong

I sent a another mail reg subscription and they immediately replied....
