Hi Guys,

I am about to start my musical journey with a 2 channel stereo set up. I listen mostly Rahman, Ilayaraja, Mohammad Rafi and English Pop songs.

As this being my first set-up in terms of equipment, I am looking for a decent stereo amp for 10K.

Source: Philips DVD Player and Aiwa CD Player / Laptop

Speakers this amp is going to be paired: PIONEER BS-41.

(130W; Sensitivity: 85 DB; Frequency: 55Hz to 20KHz; 6 Ohms)

After going through many reviews, for my budget, I've finalized:

1. Topping TP20 (25 W/Channel) - $72.00
2. Topping TP30 USB-DAC (15 W/Ch) - $94.00
3. Dayton Audio DTA-100a Class-T Digital Amplifier 50 WPC - $96.00

Looking for your valuable suggestions.

Thanks !!

Hi,

Get a Norge 2060 and replace the stock pre-amp with Super simple pre-amp (check with FM sachu888) , you will be more than happy with the SQ interms of quality and quantity. :)

It must be within your budget.

Thanks Murali.

As I am new to this, can you let me know what exactly you mean by "replace the stock pre-amp with Super simple pre-amp (check with FM sachu888) " ...

Apart from Norge is there any thing that I can get within my budget as I can't get Norge in US, that's the reason I've listed those 3 amps in my initial post?
