Finally after reading reading and reading and little bit of auditioning ended up buying Onkyo HTS 4505 and must admit that it is the right bang for the buck for under 35k as far as HTiB in a hurry is concerned. Had Yamaha, Denon and Pioneer as targets but good surround clinched the deal in favor of Onkyo (personal opinion).

Yes Sub starts changing GPS coordinates but thankfully doesn't make noise so okay 'coz it does a good job.

Receiver though heats is still fine as have never seen smoke coming out so far after about 5 hour's duty on many occasions :yahoo:

I need a Home theater system for my room (20 X 12) and i have listened to mentioned below configuration:-

1. Yamaha RX-V371 Digital Sound Projector
2. Yamaha NS-8390 Multimedia Speakers
3. Yamaha Subwoofer Yst-Sw315

I found it a pretty good deal for 70 K.


Another system i like is Sony HT-M5 (5.2 Channel) and is costing Rs 50,000


Please suggest me a good deal upto 70 K in Chandigarh.
