The plot reminds me of Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro! The great Michaelangelo Antonioni film which is similar to this is a must watch.
Blow-Up, is from the 60s. Michaelangelo Antonioni is in the Kubrick league. Hypermodernism in film making. That Travolta starring flick itself preceeds the Naseerudin Shah flick you mentioned which i remember is a great film too. Hum honge kamyaab ek din song right? The plot reminds me of Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro!
I know Blow Up -> Blow Out -> JBDY chronology. My inference was just that JBDY has it's roots in Blow Up.Blow-Up, is from the 60s. Michaelangelo Antonioni is in the Kubrick league. 12 angry men. Another classic. In the Henry Fonda version. Jack Lemmon version is much much later than the hindi adaptation.I know Blow Up -> Blow Out -> JBDY chronology. My inference was just that JBDY has it's roots in Blow Up.
I believed "Ek Ruka Hua Fainsla" was masterpiece till I saw the Original. Our version is exact copy. JBDY although inspired, is developed to a very good and independent version. The genre it's converted to is also totally different. Root of an intense movie adapted to a dark farce.
12 Angry men is a must watch. The tension in that room is gripping and real.12 angry men. Another classic. In the Henry Fonda version. Jack Lemmon version is much much later than the hindi adaptation.
I love Quentin Tarantino. The way he directs the film is very different from any other film maker.12 Angry men is a must watch. The tension in that room is gripping and real.
12 angry men has nothing to do with Tarantino. Tarantino cant even make a single film without a Mexican standoff or guns or his trademark film universe of characters overlapping in different films and other easter eggs.I love Quentin Tarantino. Yes, but completely different takes on the idea....love them both! The great Michaelangelo Antonioni film which is similar to this is a must watch.
Why should he?He will never make 'life is beautiful' type of movies thats for sure.
