George, from what I could recall, it was a 150w plate amp with variable crossover frequency and phase. Could you please post the complete specs as well as the cost and approximate courier charges.

I have put Kittu as tentative in the list. please let me know your interest.

Some questions.

1) Any recommendations on a reliable carpenter?

2) Other than carpentry what DIY is required to give it a factory finish? (Putty,fiberglass and paint etc)

3) What other components that go in cabinet to complete the sub? (Spikes/grill/cloth/screws/nuts etc etc)

Yes it is a 150w Class D amp, the appx cost is around Rs 8K, shipping to buyer at actuals. I will try to go and photograph it and post a photo in a few days time, since the amp was ordered for a friend( i borrowed it for the DIY workshop) who is building a sub using a 12 inch Dayton driver. I will get more specs also and post.

i also am looking for a budget sub, but have no knowledge of a DIY, but thinking of buying
drivers and amps and everything, and getting it done by some experienced audiophile...

i read abt the difficulty of shipping drivers individually to u guys by JeetuBhai....
since i am from Mumbai ... i don't mind buying the drivers together for all u guys and
shipping it to your individual addresses ... i don't know why but i feel like helping out...

i have been in this situation many times....
