Moving the speakers from ground to my apartment is good enough excersise for a week..

Kevian - The source/DAC to be used in system 3&4 will be a Ayon Cd2 which has tube based o/p stage with 4 - 6h30 tubes.

I have a tube amp, cdp and a tube dac based media player... i hope somebody helps me in carrying the stuff from sri krishnagar colony to the hotel...

I am starting from chandanagar , can pickup anyone from madhapur, jubilee hills etc.. just have one passenger so far - blasto in srinagar colony , but can make another trip just to get him.

I could not succeed in convincing any one of the local dealers to sponsor our event and now its too late to reach dealers in other cities because time is not sufficient enough to ship their equipment.

But something to cheer about at the end...

I have just received a parcel from ARN Systems Bangalore containing,

1.Usher 350 strand cable 5m.

2.Usher Diamond series promo. CDs 3nos.

Sridhar Of ARN systems has sent these to encourage better participation on 11th December Hyderabad HFV meet

At the end of HFV event, each one of the lucky winners in a draw will get one of the above mentioned items.

Don't worry Sameer. You tried your best and that itself needs appreciation. If we had more confirmed numbers, we could fairly have a chance of roping in Vector/SoundnVision etc. AFAIK, this is the first Hyd HFV meet, we'll get to know each other and learn something. I am frankly treating this meet as a stepping stone for the upcoming Hyd meet which would be a grand one. And guess what? laying the stepping stone needs great courage and patience, which you guys have done. All in all, a great job done.:clapping:

And kudos to Sridhar for the freebies. He is a generous man.

I picked up the above info from the google document. So far we had 14 confirmations and we have 6 folks more to confirm. Do we want to freeze the participant list and equipment list at 10PM tomorrow? or last minute walk-ins are allowed? I am asking this because the setups that you guys have have planned for the meet include components of folks who didn't confirm. Just wondering

So folks who are sitting on the fence should jump in and attend the meet - good odds to win any of the above - especially the Usher speaker cable. Should be a nice cable and a great addition to any system.

14 confirmations are correct. I think it should be fine if folks walk in on Sunday, but the equipment list should be more or less confirmed by tomorrow.
