Too late for 65FZ1000...hope whatever has happened, was for the good, keeping my fingers crossed. Busy week ahead hence installation will be possible only on Sunday. BTW date of mfg on 65C9 TV box is 24 Sep 2019.

Have also logged a call with panasonic, wanted to try a last shot if they can fix the vertical lines on screen. Don't feel like letting go of my 65VT30 Plasma yet. Served me well.

So I finally got the 65" C9. Bought this from Reliance digital phoenix market city for 1.75 effective price. I and my two friends went there at around 9 PM when the shop was about to close in 30 mins. Since we went to buy 3 TVs ( 1 65" C9, 1 55" C9 and 1 55" X950G) and the shop was about to close, the representative directly took us to the manager without wasting time. We didnt negotiate much, just told the max budget we could afford. The manager disagreed at first and were walking out towards croma in the same mall and I received the call from manager that he will do it as he had diwali sales target to achieve. Even said that he was sacrificing a little bonus from his pocket for achieving the target (not sure!!).
So effective price of the three mentioned models were (without any freebies and total 4 credit card swipes)
1. LG 65" C9 - 1.75
2. 55" C9 - 1.12
3. X950G - 1.15

Congrats and Happy Viewing ! Haha, not surprising that many of us long time lurkers just dont want to let go of our plasmas and a particular love for the brand . Mine finished a full 9 years and even survived abuse as a PC monitor for several hours a day. Image retention's been there but that goes away, no signs of burn in. Still no issues but i feel the need for a brigher true black TV. Been very difficult for me to consider any other brand for OLEDs but i think the competition's improved and i'm sure your choice will hold you in good stead. Enjoy !

Hi I’m planning to buy the 65c9. I have a quite for 2,10,000 and 9000 cashback on that with HDFC card. Any suggestions on where to get food deals in Mumbai ?

I have been auditioning OLEDs finalised on 55 inch Sony A8. But after three days of multiple demos at the time of booking 55 seemed small and me going for upgrade is mainly for size. But the 65 inch A8 cost ridiculous and the best quote I got was 2.45L. Any one here got better quotes fo 65 inch A8?

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
