Tata Sky HD for HD ready?

I am currently owning sony bravia 32" T series LCD,which is HD ready Archived KLV-32T400A : Series T : BRAVIA LCD TV : Sony India.
i am going for DTH tata sky HD.
1.Will it work for HD ready
2.If it works ,than is its picture quality better than the normal tata sky our it will improve.
3.if picture quality improves ,than does it improves that much to shed off extra Rs1100(2600-1500).

1. Of course it will work for HD Ready. Anyway the HD signal from TATA Sky HD will be either 720p or 1080i. And as any guru here will tell you, there is no discernible difference between full HD and HD ready at 32" screen size.
2. By HD it does not mean that all channels will be in HD.... only a select few. Those will definitely be better in quality than normal TATA Sky. As for the rest, I think they will be same as regular TATA sky quality.
3. I think it is worth it. Especially considering the price offered by the competition. SUN HD retails at around 8k. Not sure about whether there will be a special subscription cost for HD channels though.........

It will be the best darned Rs 1100 you ever spend on Audio/Video.

How did you arrive @ that calculation?

The current stb is of 1500 and the HD Stb costs 2600.so by applying simple class 1 maths. :yahoo: (2600-1500) = 1100 :clapping:

Why Dths give some blurry and trails in lcd tv.atleast my sony bravia shows by airtel digitil.
Is it with every LCD or with just mine...
