Today it was Mohd Rafi's LP 'An Evening With..'. The cover depicts him in his residence with his Chevrolet Impala in the background. The LP itself had songs from Bheege Raat, Junglee,Sharabi, Raaz and others.

Today heard Englebert Humperdinck 'AMan Without Love'. This classic LP has some of his most iconic songs. Other than the title song, hits like " Can't take my eyes off you", " Quando Quando Quando" and " Call on Me" make for a nice listen.

Other than the "like" I must compliment Satyaki for the superb collection of Dire Straits Albums. My (only) Album, 'Brothers in Arms' has been used so much that some tracks ie, 'Money For Nothing ' has become literally unusable!
Wish you the best in your collection efforts.

The re-issues of Dire Straits studio albums are reasonably good sounding.
Hence any DS fan who is unable to collect older pressings can definitely buy the 2014 or 2021 reissues and they will not be disappointed.
The double LP re-issue of "On Every Street" is the best sounding vinyl of that album.

Hence any DS fan who is unable to collect older pressings can definitely buy the 2014 or 2021 reissues and they will not be disappointed.
The double LP re-issue of "On Every Street" is the best sounding vinyl of that album.

Hi @General_sound, Thanks. These were released in 1988 as a 2 volume, 4 LP compilation titled A Tribute to a Legend - Kishore Kumar.

Great collection of Kishore Kumar songs. And they tried to squeeze as many numbers as possible in those 4 LPs. Which unfortunately led to compromise of the sound quality.
There was a similar release in Bengali too with very similar looking cover. And again not so good sound.
However good collection value.

Yes I agree. How I wish the sound quality was a bit better. Spread out over 2 more LPs and this compilation would have been a treasure.
