Tube amp is not my cup of tea ,I will be mating it with SSA amp that Shan has built. Along with Elliot hi fi preamp P97.Lets see how it turns out . I might them go for JLH class A.But these class a are room heaters may be will use it as geyser in winter

The speakers, their stands have a straight line finish, with bold square/rectangular shapes. Don't you think the curvaceous rack planks could look at bit out of place?

The Rack will wobble when you have weight on the shelf (higher+heavier you go, you are invite more shakes and wobbles).
would suggest to have Wide mouthed pipes and have the shelf tightened pressing the pipe(sandwiched).

Stainless steel pipes too are easily cut using hacksaw.

Actually I am planning to build a Sub woofer Digger 8 with the IWAI sub that I am having
Digger8 Sub - diggity dig it all the way to 20Hz
The design is quite interesting .

This design has a PR .which I am trying to build .

I have replaced the cone of the Subwoofer cone with a 6 mm ply
and added a long slender bolt in place of the voice coil to add weights later
Lets see how it progresses.

Finally finished the Hi fi Rack .
I have used the aircondition ducting pipes to cover the threaded pipes. Each rack has bolts both on top and bottom and it is very rigid .The end result looks good. Enclosed some pics .

Before finishing

The end result is a cheap ,durable and customisable AV rack . :yahoo:
