I think we've reached the quota for gear selection. The charts on my mind but been busy with work and gonna be busy till 25th. So after that hopefully.

Today I booked the venue for Jan 13 2013.

Timings
Setting up starts at 9:30-10 (If you're getting gear, try to arrive around this time)
Event starts at 11am
lunch break will be around 2:30-3:30pm (will be arranging refreshments)
Event would continue till around 6 and begin concluding soon after. (Venue has a fixed timing)
Another rule is that we can't be playing stuff VERY loud. Since it is a residential complex, we can play stuff loud, but just not VERY loud. Which I'm sure many here are ok with, since it's an hi-fi meet and not a party.

We have hit the 40 people mark. I imagine about 35 people will be present for the majority of the time.
Should be interesting.
I'm going to arrange for stickers of some sort with people's names written on them. Which people will need to take from the venue reception and stick on themselves so people know who is who.

Yeah it's an efficient way. Just have a bunch of school book stickers with user ID's on them ready at the lobby that the user can pick up and write their names on so people know their ID + Name.
PS. Does anyone have a KEF Q300? This is a very popular bookshelf speaker and I'm sure people would appreciate hearing one.

Where are you located??? Can pick you up if its somewhere around between Saket and Gurgaon. Sticker seems like a good idea, though we will be the point of ridiculous smiles from the residents,

I don't think it's any issue outside as long as they're put out properly and into a dustbin.
As for drinks, they don't have a license to allow drinking but I'm sure it's fine if people want to sneak in some cans of beer.
I think people will be smiling more at the equipment than the stickers lol. I just hope there's no sore loser who takes offence to whatever little music spills outside.

Good god that's a lot of gear.
I am starting to feel the space crunch of excessive gear!
Jignesh from absolutesound.in in mumbai and Khusrau from nexus audio in mumbai are also planning to get 2 full setups driving all the way from mumbai just for the meet.
We'll probably have to keep some gear in the next room to prevent everything from acting as passive radiators.
I'm waiting for some more info from them before I make a chart of the gear.
