2 days back I dropped a mail to samsung inquiring abt the extended warranty on Plasma.
Today I have received a call from them confirming 3 year extended warranty is available on Plasma models and rates can be confirmed from service center.

It will be great if you can paste the contents of that mail in the forum, if you don't mind
