It wont.Only U.S. discs.But you can buy region free discs so that this one can play.We thought of buying as it can play almost all current formats via USB.

No one seems to be interested in spending some time for this sily question, or may be my query is not rightly narrated.

Try reformatting the USB thumb drive first to FAT32, if no success try NTFS. Also, try USB 3. 0 and or 3.1 versions. All USB drives are NOT guaranteed detection in hifi equipment, also do not use lengthy cables with external hard drives.
